[twenty-nine] lulus all around

Welcome back to [twenty-nine], the monthly mixtape inspired by my most recent birthday. This is my attempt to chronicle my merry waltz through grippy music.

When this project started, I had no idea I’d be getting feedback from all over the world and talking about music with nearly everyone in my life.  It has already been an experiences that’s paid more dividends then I ever thought possible.

The credit for that lands squarely on your shoulders.  If you look at the last mixtape, you’ll see just a sliver of the amazing feedback I’ve gotten, and to everyone who’s sent one of my compilations to a friend, co-worker, or family member I extend my humble gratitude.

This month’s mix was a bit of a struggle, I’ll admit, in the face of professional commitments demanded by Uncle Sam’s biggest payday (a.k.a. The Tax Deadline) and a few other projects I’ve managed to wrap myself up in, which wouldn’t surprise those of you who know me.  I won’t rush this…I really want to put together quality mixes.

As always, I have done my best to sample music that’s fun to listen too and somewhat off the beaten path.  I would fall over with joy if I managed to introduce every one of you to a new song or artist at some point during this [twenty-nine] project, but I know for a fact that a few of you are true experts, so I won’t hold my breath.

There’s nothing like the first time you hear a song you like.
