[twenty-nine] nomadic

Welcome back to [twenty-nine] a music project focused on grippy music.

We’re turning the corner on my twenty-ninth year, which was a year in which I attempted to make monthly mixtapes and share the music that caught my ear with anyone who cared.  The response has been truly wonderful.

Tons of you download the tapes every month, and many of you send feedback on the music that’s in them.  You’ve forwarded me music suggestions and other cool projects happening around the world.

It’s amazing the way music connects people.

The fact that I get emails all the time asking about the status of the next mixtape serves as a reminder that at least a few people are always out there listening.

With that said, I’m playing a lot of catch up as we move into the end of the year, and the monthly schedule’s been hard to adhere to.

That’s why I have a surprise for you.

Yep.

A double album.

29 - october2

I felt bad running behind on the ‘monthly’ schedule because everyone could use some regular new music in their lives, so this time I’m coming at you with a double dose.

I really hope you enjoy.

While you’re here, though, pick up my blog feed if you don’t have it or just check back here often to catch my semi-frequent musings on life and whatnot.

On to the music.

Long live the mixtape.

Legal stuff (sort of):

If you are an artist (or represent an artist) being featured on [twenty-nine] and you want me to take down a song, let me know, and it will be removed from everything immediately. I only include tunes on these mixtapes that I think are amazing.

The goal here is to introduce my friends to your music, so don’t sue me, mkay?

I bet you aren't subscribed to my RSS feed and my daily music project, are you.

So, you're handsome, charming, a great writer and thought provoker, AND you make mixed tapes?! Ha! Nice! Thanks for the wonderful songs!

P.S. Fireflies by Owl City is one of my new favorites too!
  • Yes! I'm so glad "Horchata" is on here! I've been hearing about it/talking about it all week and haven't actually heard it yet. Like Mawls said, thanks for keeping this up! I'm a newbie to it, but I really, really dig what you're puttin' out here.
  • Double Whammy Sweetness! Thanks for continuing to do this. You know I love it.
