[twenty-nine] say uncle
this month’s mixtape comes a few days late.
the responses to the first two mixtapes have been overwhelming and this project seems to ignite just the kinds of conversations that i had hoped it would.
please keep sending along the tracks that have you in their grips.
that being said, certain sections of this month’s mix are undoubtedly a little darker than you might expect. there were a few days over the past few weeks that seemed to have it out for me (and some of the people close to me), and i think that stress may have found its way into your headphones. the good and the bad hold one another’s hands, though, and there’s still a smile on my face.
as always, i hope you enjoy the tunes, and hope you’ll continue sending your friends over to check it out.

long live the mixtape.

legal stuff (sort of):
if you are an artist (or represent an artist) being featured on [twenty-nine] and you want me to take down a song, let me know, and it will be removed from everything immediately. i only include tunes on these mixtapes that i think are amazing, and in all cases i direct folks to websites where they can buy the music and check out your other tunes.
the underlying goal here is to introduce my friends to your music, so don’t sue me, mkay?
cheers,
dshan
