[twenty-nine] skirts and leather boots

Here we are with another edition of [twenty-nine], a mixtape of grippy music, delivered to your inbox and ears by…well…killer musicians.

29 - skirts and leather boots

Happy spring! I hope everyone is listening to their music outside and looking forward to an amazing summer.

I kept you waiting on this particular complication, and as this is the sixth mixtape in a project inspired by my last birthday, I certainly consider it a milestone.  It wasn’t my intention to send this batch out a few days after May ended, but hopefully you didn’t notice (although I heard from many of you who did).

This month, as always, I’ve tried to listen to the feedback I’m getting to improve your experience and ability to get your hands on this music.

The first change with this month’s mix is that you’ll now notice the Albums are listed by each song, as well as the year of the Album’s release.  If my research is inaccurate, please don’t blame me…I may have found a bad source, or misread a review in the wee hours of the night.

The second, far more exciting update you will notice is a little “Play” button by each song name; click it and you can listen to the entire mix without leaving this website!

(And by the way, I don’t want you to leave.  This is my website.  You should poke around! Maybe pick up my blog feed and check out how I spend the rest of the month?)

So there ya go…you can sample the entire [twenty-nine] mixtape from right here.   In fact, you can click the first song, go grab some coffee and some co-workers, and you can let the whole thing run right on through second cup of coffee.  Heck, leave it on all day.  I probably will.

Great, right?

Let me know if you have any trouble.  Or if you love a particular song.  Or how this mix (or any previous mix) finds its way into your life in any way.  After all, that’s why I’m doing this, and down below is a nice, friendly comment box for your feedback.

On to the music.

Long live the mixtape.

Legal stuff (sort of):

If you are an artist (or represent an artist) being featured on [twenty-nine] and you want me to take down a song, let me know, and it will be removed from everything immediately. I only include tunes on these mixtapes that I think are amazing.

The goal here is to introduce my friends to your music, so don’t sue me, mkay?

Cheers,
DShan
