That meetup was the reason I took the reins on 20 Something Bloggers, something I’ve never regretted. It showed me the heart of a community that’s really changed people’s lives; something I’m proud to be involved in and continuously proud to talk about.
Sometime I feel when I don’t get comments on my posts, they can be a real motivator but that doesn’t stop me from posting as I know that I’m new to this arena. I blog because I have opinions in almost all the things, though I’m not as talented as most of them when it comes to writing skills. But it’s all about learning which I love the most.
Anyway, at the end of this week in Austin, South By Southwest kicks off with their Interactive session, which what they call the geeky stuff. South By Southwest actually transitions from the geek scene into the music and film sessions with lots of overlapping, but all in all the first few days are what I’d call Geek Bonnaroo.
Hi! My name is Alana and I write over at The Good Girl Gone Blog. I’m so excited to be over here at Derek’s blog today! To be quite honest, I don’t actually read any boy-blogger blogs, so I was a little nervous when I received Derek as my 20SB swap partner. Fortunately, he’s a sweetheart, and I’m now feeling confident about guest posting on a non-pink blog.
If you’ve been with me for a while you may have noticed that this year I switched my blog from blogger to wordpress’s self-hosted platform. Since then, the look and feel of this blog has changed a bit too, most notably the last time I changed my theme and layout, and (at the same time) brought my monthly mixtape project [twenty-nine]* over here from tumblr.
It seems back then, my inclination to claim that blog design was in ‘beta’ phase was prescient, as we now have a full redesign as of late last night, in what amounted to a few hours of tweaking and absolutely no coding whatsoever.
