So I’ll take a break on recapping SXSW to share something possibly more interesting to those who weren’t there, which is a handful of video pieces that either involve me or involve some of the people I’m surrounded with up here in Vancouver at Bootup Labs.
The first is a very cool interview I did with Edelman’s Digital Team while I was in Austin. They sent a great team down to the conference and I was flattered to have been included in their series on people they consider innovative.
I’m not sure how innovative I really am, but check it out anyway?
(My mom’s response: I loved seeing you talk about 20SB made it seem like you were closer…do more video!)
Second up is a great mashup video that Strutta, a company on our floor here in Vancouver, put together around their kickass party that I missed and completely regret missing. They launched an Over The Top picture contest down there, so you can imagine the party.
I’ll leave it at that. There’s probably more, which I’ll feed to my Killer Share stream, but in the spirit of video stuff I’m hoping you’ll check in on Couchbeers today, because I’ll be on it.
I’m going to try and mention pirates and hot tub time machines. You should watch.
Couchbeers (#couchbeers) is a live online video chat, with beer, focused on the Vancouver tech scene. My co-founder Shelly was on two weeks ago talking about Foodtree, so today I’ll probably just focus on SXSW takeaways and experiences. It’s a fun hour-long informal chat…4PM PST or thereabouts. This link.
It always starts a few minutes late, so I’ll try to send a tweet when we’re ready to rock.
Is it the weekend?
